As a group of dedicated aviation professionals, we are naturally extremely happy and proud to be accredited with Wyvern Wingman so early in the history of Planet Nine. By fulfilling Wyvern’s rigorous safety and maintenance requirements, this globally revered Wingman accreditation recognises our delivery of consistent and exceptional service. It also acknowledges that we now have infrastructure to support over 20 aircraft and endorses our ability to deliver a seamless flight experience to our clientele.
We are the first organisation to achieve Wingman through the new Wyvern Flight Leader program whereby, following the onsite audit, monitoring and assessment is ongoing; operator, aircraft and crew background checks happening 24/7 in the Wyvern database. This ensures that this award is continually validated through the term of the recommendation and provides much more than just a judgement based on what the audit team saw while they were on site with us.
Wyvern uses state-of-the-art technology and hands-on data mining to obtain accurate, real-time data, including training documents, crew currency, insurance levels, maintenance training and aircraft hours and additional relevant information. In fact, thousands of data points are reviewed both manually and within the system every day. This two-handed approach to safety is unique in the industry, as Wyvern Wingman is the only accreditation that evaluates both process and compliance.
‘Achieving Wyvern Wingman status in October was a very pleasing endorsement’ Planet Nine Chief Financial Officer Bill Wulf.
‘Planet Nine’s Wyvern Wingman status is the first achieved through passing both the stringent 2-3 days onsite audit and the new Flight Leader Program the company has demonstrated a commitment to safety through its established Safety Management System. In its quest to successfully achieve Wingman Certified status they have embraced The Wingman Standard and proven they go above and beyond minimum regulatory requirements, allowing them to become an industry leader in safety culture.’ Sonnie Bates, CEO of Wyvern Ltd.
